... think it is the southern fork. After several days of scouting (Lewis traveled upwards of 27 miles per day on foot !!) Lewis discovers the great waterfall the Indians told him about (June 13th). Thinking it would take a half a day to portage around the falls, the Great Falls, but low and behold he finds four more waterfalls. They make camp, build crude carts from cottonwoods, bury some of their cargo and begin hauling the canoes ...

... We then head back to the bicycle shop and Don takes us upstairs to their living quarters above the bicycle shop, that are in the process of being renovated. It is a beautiful space with a lot of exposed brick. I hope we can visit them again when the project is complete because I think it is going to be something spectacular! Back in the shop, Don brews us a nice pot of coffee and Heidi fixes us a couple of to-go cups. We have to get going as Great Falls ...

We woke to a
beautiful, sunny day in Dillon, MT! There were some clouds off in the distance, we hoped to stay ahead of them.

Jerry washed the RV bright and
early at our RV site. Took him a couple of hours to get it all done. So, we started off with a very clean RV! We did run into occasional rain, but it was quick!

We only drove about 3 hours today.
