... time we stopped for a few minutes. The cauldron still stands as do the flags. Also out in front is the replica of the Jamaican bobsled which was used in the movie "Cool Runnings". The movie told the story of the Jamaican bobsled team in the 1988 Olympics. The park is now used as a winter sports complex complete with bobsled and luge runs still there and a summer camp. There were a group of children zip-lining while we were there.

As we left Lewis & Clark Caverns behind us, we retraced our path over MT-2E this time. We did have to make one stop for a picture that we saw on the way up to the caves, and had to verify on the way back. ... think it is the southern fork. After several days of scouting (Lewis traveled upwards of 27 miles per day on foot !!) Lewis discovers the great waterfall the Indians told him about (June 13th). Thinking it would take a half a day to portage around the falls, the Great Falls, but low and behold he finds four more waterfalls. They make camp, build crude carts from cottonwoods, bury some of their cargo and begin hauling the canoes ...
