We left Ft. Stockton in a very thick fog, with some rain (apparently the dying gasps of the hurricane coming up from Mexico) which cleared fairly early. The dry desert terrain continued as we came through the West Texas country. During this, period we began to observe power-generating windmills and operating oil well pumps but did not see a single drilling rig. Welcome to my blog! This is my first international trip and I am SO excited to finally get to go to some of my favorite countries that I have always wanted to go to.
For the first leg of my trip, I will be in London, England with my Brit family from August 3-9. We will be heading to Salcombe, England to stay from the 9th-16th, and head back to London. On the 18th, the second leg of my trip will commence and I will go off on my own to Scotland. I cannot wait!

I can't wait for this ...
I love the outdoors and hike four to five days a week. I am always looking for interesting places to hike and see. After hiking 15 kilometers in Comfort, I decided to come to the Pedernales Falls, a Texas State Park, and check them out. I was glad that I did. They are beautiful and well worth visiting. I will be back, again and again.
