      Three Day Synopsis

... we went out Monday night and Wednesday night. Some of us then just sat outside until almost 9 visiting and catching up.

Wednesday morning brought the washing team of one. He started at 9 and finished about 12. He did a great job. He washed the roof and then worked his way down. After washing, he hand waxed and buffed. Now "G/G" is nice and shiny and it will probably rain! But "G/G" hasn't looked this good since it rolled off the assembly line! We all sat across ...

... to cook. As it turned out, we three couples decided to go out to eat, so we drove into Johnson City. We sat there for a couple of hours and visited and ate. It was nice not to rush.

Now we're in for the night and we'll see what tomorrow brings. Since this is rally time, I may not write every night. So if you don't receive our email announcement, don't worry, we didn't fall off the face of the earth, just nothing exciting to write about.

      Good night.

It's close by the water and has the best diner that I think I have ever really tried. My favorite is their Pecan Pie. I have never had any better pecan pie then ...

... area that was a little deeper where they could jump off the rocks into the water. Brandon got a little upset with me because I wouldn't let him swing from a rope hanging there, but oh well!!!

After about an hour of swimming, we made our way back up the hill (pant, pant) and they managed to get dry and dressed. All in all I think they had a good time.

We had planned to have hamburgers for dinner, but I decided I did not want to cook, so we ended up ...

      1. Tuesday, March 12 – We left Austin headed west on 290 and drove through the town that Cynthia lives in Dripping Springs. She had told us that she lives in a development across from the pottery place and it looked very nice. It is set in a canyon and the homes were beautiful but they do worry about canyon fires with the drought and cedar trees surrounding their home. Very nice! ...
