    ... then it has gotten progressively better as we traveled south. I can't explain this but the trees were not changing in Canada except near the border. As we get further into Maine it has been more colorful. I didn't download the pictures from the camera before it went back with CW. So I missed the pictures of Kip and the few I took of Acadia.     ... Their yard is home to seven ducks, several chickens, two roosters and Hamlet and Macbeth, the goats. Great visit with family! Today's destination only involves a three hour drive to Bar Harbor.     ... classics. The animal barns were a little crowded but clean. You can pet any of the animals at your own risk. Most of the time the animal owners are nearby and more than willing to talk to you about their animals and farm. The barns and sidewalks and reasonably handicap friendly and flat.

    ... we thought!

    We were handed a lobster shaped order buzzer and made to wait while our marine crustacean met his butter coated fate!

    Finally our patience paid off and what can only be described as 'heaven in a roll' was placed before us. There was only thing to do, pick it up and go for it!

    ... t quiet summer in Maine!

    BUT, there were lobstah rolls involved!

    Yes, plural, meaning we had lobster rolls twice today! Once for first lunch and then again for second lunch, as Marette so aptly named those memorable occasions! It was a very good day, indeed.
