... It was neat to see some of the EU institutions I've learned about in my Contemporary EU class. I also got to see the Place Gutenburg. Gutenburg, the inventor of the printing press, lived in the city for part of his life. That night I indulged myself and bought a chocolate and coffee mousse cake. It was a little pricey at €5, but it was worth it. So good!

... Door Bayonne was makkelijk fietsen over mooi fietspad tot aan de zee. Verder richting Biarritz langs de zee. Bij toeristische dienst lijst van campings gevraagd. Toch maar besloten om niet in Biarritz te overnachten. 15 km terug landinwaarts, en zodoende al een stuk van de volgende diagonaal gedaan.
Zeer goede camping hier in Frans Baskenland. Gratis wifi en supermarkt aan de overkant. Ondertussen heeft het hier een half uur geregend, maar het ziet er al weer goed uit aan de voet van de ...
