... Place Dauphine on the Ile Saint-Louis was a gem - a triangular place enclosed on all sides by perfectly balanced building facades. And it was the first royal plaza!

So a few minutes later, I see the same woman and her child trying the ring trick on an Australian couple so I tell the wife, who seems to be the only one of the two trying to help, that it's a scam. Her husband nods and starts to drag his wife away. The woman then starts yelling that I should go **** myself, which is terrible language to use in front of her child. I just keep walking away. ... a cheese plate is great especially in Paris -even managed to photo bom a wedding group! Finished the daylight hours at the chapel of St Chappelle with its stain glass windows. ... 2 sentences of the 2 hour long service being in English, was great to be in there experiencing the service but for us it was more of a game of follow the leader as we stood up/sat down when the people around us did.
