After we got away from the rats we came across something even worse hawkers, men selling ****** little statues of the tower, shaking their chains in your face and begging you to by from them, there are so many selling the same thing, shining their lasers around you hoping the bright lights might tempt you. It's like being in Bali.

We tried to get some photos, but the further away you get the better, so we walk take photo, walk further back take ...

... of paris, which was right beside the Seine and close to Notre Dame. We had to give it a try and yet many of the dishes were not classic canadian meals. And the beer was very expensive. But it was a nice break from the amount to follow bread and cheese we have been consuming. Following this, we went back to the hotel for a much needed nap.
When we woke up, we headed out around 630-7ish to find our picnic dinner and metro down to the Champs de mars and the difference tower ...

Well hello again from Paris for the last time.

Gary woke up at about 3am and then woke me to see something amazing. The road out front of the hotel - the crazy busy hectic road - was empty. No cars! First time ever we had seen that!
Maybe this City does sleep after all?

We have had such a great trip, it's hard to believe our 4 weeks are up already. We are ready to go home though. It gets hard living out of a suitcase, and we do miss our pussy-cats. We're also running ...

... the teeniest hotel rooms the size of my closet, fashionably dressed women, men and children, and two hour meals where no one, and I mean no one is in a hurry.

Last night we bought a meal in a nearby Vietnamese restaurant. Had some left over so I tried leftover Vietnamese and rice blended into egg and cooked as scrambled egg for breakfast. It was great. Off we went to the La Fayette to get the TravelPod posted to Facebook and check up on our Internet stuff.
