We now are in San Antonio. We are staying at my grandparents house for three days and they have agreed to let me and my two brothers to work for them for shearing sheep. My grandparents own a sheep farm there. We got paid $15 an hour and worked for 7 hours, all three days we stayed. We made a total of $915. ... that the slide lockout mechanism was broken. Apparently there is a spring in there because I could hear it being sprung. As it turned out, since the spring was sprung, the mechanism was not working, so I could not extend the slide. ... lit up the city's official tree, the holiday season was inaugurated with a procession of floats through downtown. Ranging from charming to raucous to laughable, the San Antonio holiday parade certainly didn't disappoint. As we walked back to the hotel, we were surrounded by joyful people on the streets, and a city literally aglow with holiday cheer. As we left San Antonio, our hearts were certainly a bit warmer with appreciation.
