... der Seite der Besichtigungsplattformen und schnuert damit einen Seitenarm (Brazo rico) des Lago argentinos ab. Der Wasserdruck in diesem Seitenarm steigt an. Wird er zu gross, sprengt es den Eisdamm in einer gewaltigen, natuerlichen Explosion wieder weg. So aergerlicherweise geschehen vor ca. 3 Tagen. Knapp verpasst ist halt eben auch verpasst. ... a nice sunny day, we all did get pretty warm and they were quite envious of Greg’s wardrobe choice by the end of the tour!

Anyways, after bout an hour or so of walking atop the glacier, and checking out a few streams (drinking the water straight from the glacier), the tour ended with a little surprise of glasses of whiskey chilled with ice picked straight off the glacier.
