Today we made candy sushi using rice krispie treats, swedish fish, fruit roll ups (thanks to Mrs. J!). I prepared the rice krispies last night and brought them in for students to wrap and fill with candy! When we have our going away party later on in the day we will eat our treats with chopsticks! I'm going to have to practice as well!
... and hung out with Ben's Aunt Ann and Uncle Jay. I had never really gotten to know Ann and Jay, so this was wonderful! Ann spoke about how much she was enjoying being a grandparent. She also spoke about how she got to work with Ken Burns’ producers to procure various historical images for The Roosevelt’s. How cool that Ann works at Corbis, which is the name of the massive archive of images and other historical items.
We awoke this morning to a lovely breakfast prepared by Liberty Sprague, our host at the Country Seasons B&B. There were 8 guests at breakfast, 2 per each of the 4 season rooms. It was nice talking to the couples from all over the country over breakfast. We then headed down the road to Fallingwater.
