Hey, we're on the road again. We finally got things in good enough shape to leave on
schedule on 10/14. We had a great visit with our friends, Phil & Doris Crain, in Cabot, AR.

Trip up the St. Louis Arch
On Sunday we woke up at 3:30am to begin our travels home because we wanted to see the St. Louis arch and we figured we should get there when it opened at 9am. The drive went well, taking turns napping and driving; arriving in St. Louis shortly after 9am. Mini vacation!
We were in St. Louis again this weekend and somehow managed to book the Crowne Plaza for $50! Not only that but they gave us a room that the perfect view of the arch! We could see the whole thing and the park. It was beautiful!!! Our first night we just relaxed. On Saturday we slept in and found a diner near the zoo. I had a vegetable omelette and Jon had eggs with sausage gravy. The cofee was pretty good. For a diner in STL it wasnt bad..but we all know NJ has ...
Heading Home
... by Claremore OK to see the Orbans - it was SO great to see them again! Cathy, Kelly, and I went for a walk around the neighborhood to get the blood flowing. Then we drank iced tea, ate pineapple upside down cake, and relaxed on the back porch.
