Eight of us met at Macatawa Legends for Senior Day. Great deal - golf and lunch for $35. Such a beautiful day. Golf not so beautiful. Still had fun. Something about Boots? Back to Schmidts to pick up our stuff, then to Grand Rapids. Doing a Park 'n Fly while we are gone. Good place, will park car here while we are gone. Up early tomorrow. 7:30 flight to Anchorage.

Megan was giddy as the plane took off. Kebede is taking it all in as usual, but I can tell he is so excited. He longs to remember his homeland and I think he will make many comments once we arrive and travel around about he remembers the places. He really ...

... at a fork in the road…Oops! Thankfully, my keen sense of direction told me to check the map soon after the decision was made. Twelve hours after my takeoff from Fort Myers, I arrived in Myrtle Beach, SC – happy to be done driving. We went for dinner and then to a dueling piano bar for a bit. Once it was bed time, I was out like a light.

As I traveled though South Carolina on Sunday I caught a whiff of a familiar perfume in the air… ...
