... our next stop. The story is here that this unfinished mansion was donated to the state who now run various tours through it. It is full of amazing and different styles and collected pieces built up over a number of years. Many of the items require maintenance and protection from the huge numbers of tourists that come through here – you MUST stay on the carpet or get yelled at by the security guards positioned throughout the castle.

... to see that Rv's are allowed to line up along the coast road for $40 per night. Too many to count and we have seen that in many places along the coast. 5 pm and we headed to Pismo beach. Got a room and then we went to Denny's restaurant for tea.. Had been 25 years since last there. Had great memories of using them and was ticketed to go back. Used wifi to phone Jessica cos she has heaps of data and chatted for almost an hr. what a treat
