... ein angenehmerer Job, als die anderen letzte Woche. Am Samstag davor waren wir das erste Mal in der Containercity von Christchurch. Das ist eine Art Einkaufspassage, die das zerstörte Stadtzentrum kompensieren und erstmal ersetzen soll. A scary amount of CBD building are in the process of demolition, some of the big ones alone are estimated at about 2 years work as they don’t just blow them up, they have to strip out the insides and then take it to bits from the top down - bit by bit. ... hrs free! So after our first 2 hr was up, we had to move our car to another parking lot. It’s enough if you move your car by just one lot! Haha. Anyway, we didn’t do that. We went to Wellington botanical gardens for a walk.

Walking in NZ is just so enjoyable! The temperatures are low, it’s always windy and the air is dry so you don’t really perspire a lot! The garden was beautifully landscaped and a walk through the gardens ...
