    ... First lesson learned. 
    Spokane Airport at 5 a.m. is crazy. Second lesson. The line for TSA screening was awfully long and slow. I was randomly selected to go through their special line that doesn't have to take off shoes, take out computers, etc. Made the process so nice and easy. 
    Sure enough the plane boarded at 5:30. Hmm turns out Southwest's boarding process ...

    Don’t judge….that was some good pie and if you had some you might have found yourself in a food coma also.

    We scored two nights of $20 campsites in the park, plus one just outside the park at a KOA. For those counting, through 13 nights that’s 11 nights camping and 2 nights in hotels. Holly says, "Way To Go Ronnie!" Ronnie ...

    Really fun, short ride today. We got to cross into Idaho and only rode 35 miles. Our lodging tonight was camp twinlow and it was an awesome little secluded summer camp on a lake. We also got to go drive some logging roads and do a little hiking up into the mountains. It was an awesome day and I got to get to know a couple more guys pretty well.     ... tomorrow… I don’t think we saw more than 3-4 elk and no more than 10-12 bison… the other day we’d see 25-50 bison at a time… and small herds of elk… it’s like they took a day off so they can be here on the weekend for all the tour groups that start this weekend….
