... this semester. We all went our separate ways (for the time being) and I still chatted with some of the friends at the hotel who weren't able to make it. After visiting Marist, mom and I made the most of our detour by stopping at Five Guys for lunch. Then, we stopped at the bank and got back on the road all the way to the City. Next train left at 9.30am for Albany. Really comfortable, ************e on it, spent the day writing my previous entry. Scenery once we crossed the border was very different & just spectacular. There were still a lot of leaves on the trees. The track travels beside some lakes & there are some ...

... GREAT day of climbing!!!!

Day 7 (Sunday, Oct. 26) Rest day and we got to meet with Rachel and her two boys, Luke and James. It was a lovely day!

Day 8 (Monday, Oct. 27) Climbed Minty (5.4 with a 5.5 finish, 3 pitches, 250 feet) Frog's Head (5.5, 2 pitches, 150 feet) and Strictly From Nowhere (5.7, 2 pitches, 170 feet). There were a lot of roofs to climb today. Frog's Head was soooo slippery on the rocks in the beginning, but the rest of the ...
