... the bus. We are glad the #22 route takes us around the coast past Diamond Head, with good views of the surf, and past some pretty expensive real estate. The bus drive is quite a character, and gives us a running commentary, bemoaning the fact that he will never afford this sort of house. ... luggage, then walking luggage thru customs again and rechecking them and then going thru security with our carry-ons giving Canadian TSA's the thrill of a pat down and finally walking to our gate to re-board our flight to Toronto used up 80 of the 90 minutes between flights, but we made it! Yea!

We took off on time at 9:00 am, Vancouver time (12:00 noon Toronto time) for the 2070 mile, 4 hour flight ...

... controls, don't understand why. We also notice a group of what we think are new immigrants to our country from Africa. Some of them look shell shocked. So as Nicole writes, we are one hour into our flight to Vancouver. We're not too tired but will wait until after lunch to take another zopiclone and see if we can catch more zzzz's. Finally, after 22 hours in 3 KLM planes eating pretty much the same ...
