Had a very lazy last morning leaving the site around 11.30am in search of fuel, luckily the local supermarket down the road had plenty ;-). Ooooo there's an Argos let's take the stupid, non working dash cam back, ummmmmm receipt? Nope, still they sent Andy an e receipt, oops they had sent a receipt for a travel adaptor at £6.99!!!!!!! A few expletives later, I explained to the nice lady ...

... see us until tomorrow. We sat in the sun in her garden for a lovely chat and a cuppa. Later we booked into our Hotel, Kings Lodge room 10. Single beds! Well we will have to make the best of that! After unpacking we had a glass of Prosecco in the bar? When will we learn...they cost £8 each! It's a beautiful evening and only a short walk to the town of Durham. ... a rather long telescope, you see Pluto. But this Pluto is the cartoon Pluto, a picture of the cartoon dog stuck at the end of the telescope, which I think is a good touch....... there is a jokester among the Royal Astronomers.

And that`s how we spent Friday 27th April 2012.

Tomorrow we visit the National Maritime Museum, the world`s largest maritime museum, where I will see Nelson`s uniform amongst many other things, and then a stroll to see and board the Cutty Sark.
