... we got to see lots of cute animals and I got to hold a koala bear! We went to the croc show which was really cool and also saw the tiger show where the keepers were playing and swimming with the tiger so that was great to watch! Tomorrow we will have another wander round the city, see the art museum and then go into the free lagoon swimming pool on South bank. On Saturday we move on up the east coast to Noosa! ... we logged on to and booked ourselves a room in a shared apartment in a suburb of Brisbane only 30 minutes walk from the centre (ok Brisbane isn't that big a 'city' either!).

... scenic walkways and a nice market, where we found a place that sells ice creams made with liquid nitrogen! We shared a lemon meringue ice cream, which was frozen in front of us, and the meringue was toasted with a blow torch! So cool, and tasted excellent.
