Today was a lovely day. After a nice BBQ breakfast we loaded Damien's inflatable kayaks onto the car and drove down to the Lawn Hill Gorge at Boodjamulla National Park. ... Childcare Centre to give Lee a hug and then back to Brisbane to mum's Dr's appointment for her thyroid. It was great to be home, sit on the verandah in the sun and at night sit and listen to the waves over at the beach. Fingers crossed Scott is making a move and going to move to Toogoom to live! Had a wander around Woolworths for a while, got plenty of stuff! Went back to the hostel then went to use with internet. We were both wilting. Worked out that in OZ time, we’d been up since 1:35am, after having 3:30 hours sleep, after being on a bus for 11 hours, after having about 4 hours sleep. It had been a long few days!

The following day, after a lazy morning, we went with Chris down to Southbank, a strip along the river filled with cafés and restaurants, plenty of green spots to chill and even an artificial beach.
