Let our Sydney buddies get on with it this morning as we decided to christen the blow up kayak on the local lake. What a fantastic idea! The weather was perfect, the boat paddled straight and true and Morgan’s cheese sandwiches were to die for…Saw lots of pelicans off the port bow.

After a night in cheese town Bega, we drove to Tathra, a beautiful little town with a big surf beach on one side and a rivermouth on the other side. We went for a hike over a wild path through the cliffs and ended up at the rivermouth, where some young fishermen just came back with a hammerhead shark (which is apparently legal in this region) and cut it into pieces. The showers had floor heating which was so good, we haven't had this before on the whole trip.


COOPERS AMAZING FACT:

Floating golf balls appear the same as regular golf balls but they have a low density centre which gives it its buoyancy.


COHEN AND JUDES AMAZING THINGS:

... not take fruit over the border into Victoria from New South Wales. We had already used our capsicum and tomatoes in the curry the night before and had eaten the box of kiwi fruit, apples, bananas and most of the mandarins. All that was left to finish off before we reached Victoria was one naartjie (mandarin) and half a cucumber. Our stop tonight will be at Lakes Entrance, in Victoria, before we head for Melbourne tomorrow morning.

... Annie were younger. Although it is great spending time with Max and Jack, we adore them both.
This place we ended up for the night in is just so paradise like. It is our most expensive stop at $43 for the night. This however includes, Free: Tennis court, swimming pool bird aviary, large outdoor chess game, mini golf and outstanding showers and kitchen facilities. a great stop to refresh in. We ate ...
