... I get in for free because my dad is head of security their, so I actually get a free season pass. My favorite time to go is at night because of all the lights. Every single ride is lite up and flashing all kinds of different colors. Night time is probably the most packed time of the day to go because this is when all of the big events happen.

After I visited the Wyeth, Farnsworth, and the homestead, I then went to the Farnsworth Family Cemetery which is actually closed to the public which I didn’t notice until I left. It is located on Pleasant street by the Little League Baseball fields. There are only 10 family members buried here dating back to the 1800’s. It is surrounded by trees and has a very creepy feeling. Rains finally stopped we started early and even though the park was closed we walked around Ft. Knox the best we could till rangers asked us to leave. We then ventured on to Cadillac Mountain we stopped at sand beach to walk on the beach on up to Thunder Hole. We got there at a good time and actually got to hear the rour of Thunder Hole. ... set out for dinner. We opted again for a local pub which seems to be the best value and a great way to get a feel for the locals and life in the area. We are yet to have a poor impression. There's a small memorial tower you can climb, which makes the views even more stunning by expanding it to 360 degrees. Perhaps local poet Edna St. Vincent Millay's words are best, from her poem Renascence:

All I could see from where I stood
Was three long mountains and a wood;
I turned and looked another way,
And saw three islands in a bay.
