    ... and I had a bite in the inn's dining room and turned in early.

    Today is 9/11 and it seems kind of weird not to hear or see anything about it. Not that the British don’t take note of the anniversary, but we were out and about or on the road all day, have not had the radio on and no TV in several days. We do remember and honor those people who lost their lives and their families as well. ...

    ... I had printed at home.

    I was pretty bummed out that we drove right by Stonehenge and did not have the time to park and take a look. I have been there before, back in the days when one could walk among the stones and touch them. Now there are fences around the stones and nobody can get within 50 feet of them. I’m glad we visited them when we did.

    ... of hills. As the area is full of, marble I think, back in the day people were commissioned to carve horses into the marble. It’s quite a sight as you drive along the high way and see these giant horses.
