We made great time to Cashel, with one toilet break (folks look at you rather oddly if you say you want to go the bathroom ... why would you ask them about taking a bath?) We toured the factory starting with the initial drawings and viewing the various tools and molds. We progressed through the tour by watching the various craftsmen working with the hot molten crystal, blowing the shape of the piece, checking for quality and flaws and finally watching more artisans etch each piece.

Had a lunch at the Playwright Restaurant sitting in the warmth of the sun--vegetable soup for me, potato leek soup for Janice. Soups have been outstanding.

... follows the Poulanass Waterfall, which you will remember from my previous photos of Glendalough! It then enters the Lugduff Valley, where we began a steep climb up more than 600 wooden steps to a viewing point that overlooks Upper Lake.
