    ... we were on honeymoon ;-) Afterwords we strolled to a nearby fountain, which was very pretty, and now as I write this we are sitting in a pub, sharing a pumpkin wheat beer :-) We get back on the Amtrak in about 2 hours, and it's then on to Denver! We get in at about 7am, so wish us luck getting to sleep! Albeit a short stay, Omaha really helped us to recharge our batteries, and we had some great food and visited a fantastic zoo - all in all, a fantastic pit stop! ...

    ... was a little noisy! We decided to leave a little earlier than originally intended because of this. We popped into Walmart and bought some pre made cocktails called buzzballz - 15%!!     We enjoyed our stay in Omaha. Lovely city - 410,000 population, on the Missouri River. Big enough to have everything, but small enough to have a country town feel. Enjoyed our time here.
