... of the best sites of the trip so far. It was a series of 1.25% larger than life bronze sculptures of a pioneer wagon train. It was so realistic Peg had to go up and feel the harness on the horses to make sure it was bronze not leather. The detail and variety of figures from oxen to mules to the wagons and the people was just astounding. Seeing these figures juxtaposed against the modern city buildings was surrealistic. .

Spent the night in the Cracker Barrel in Council Bluffs. Breakfast there. Headed to Horseshoe Casino. Had a good time there. Ate at the Binion. Played for awhile. Smaller than the Horseshoe in Baltimore, but nice. Getting ready to head out of this town. Fueling up, bugs off the windshield, ready to roll east! 1044pm here. Oh, and the trip mileage cleared... ... moon both appear red even when high in the sky. You may have observed this redness as the sun set in the evening through the lower atmosphere. It was happening with us at mid-day.

We are camping tonight at Lake Manawa State Park, It is an electric only site so we will have to conserve water for our 3 night 2 day stay. The park is on an oxbow of the Missouri River that closed off in the 1800’s to form a beautiful horseshoe shaped lake.

    ... bit of havoc.

Parked up the road from Outflow boundary and got sandblasted.

Nick set up stream, streamed chase for a bit. Bit of DJing.

Had dinner in Grand Island, NE where a big MCS system came right overhead while we were eating. Love those systems. Lightning, wind and horizontal rain

Lightning show all the way through to Omaha where we stayed overnight.
