... William Bowers Bourn owned the Muckross house in the late 1800 to early 1900s. In fact, we learned that murals of Muckross house and grounds are painted in Filoli Gardens. By the way, Muckross in Irish means pig peninsula.

A BEAUTIFUL sunny, warm day--75F!! Locals are flabbergasted and happy about this kind of weather in March...and so are we!

... that actually would have said….. Not switched

This was the one part of the trip that I was MOST looking forward to was seeing the sunset on this crazy winding pathway down to the ocean. Looked spectacular. I was beyond excited!!!

As we arrive in Dingle the sky looks threatening. Heavy. Rainy. Does this mean we cannot illegally drive into someones field and pitch our tent? Bastereds.

My well laid plans of driving around for ours in the hunt is foiled!!!
