Lunch and Sightseeing
... the winemaking. Very intersting how they produced wine and makes me realise how hard it must have been quite a few years ago. Where now a lot is done now with machines and co.
The visit of the castle took us about 1hour and after that we had to make our way to the airport. On the way to the airport we all were so tired and some of us had a little nap or drifted away in our own thoughts.

Barolo Tasting
... and lost its flavor and power. We tasted it and WOW it was mind blowing. The 1964 Barolo is just beautiful and its acidity and tannins were just perfect and still fresh and powerful. It had a little hint of a nice Sherry to it. The length of the wine was amazing, too. Good morning!
... so far... 5 wines to taste and that by 10am in the morning. I call that a good start in the day.
After breakfast we all decide to go for little walk around the vinyards and get us all proberly awak. We decided to walk down the whole hill to the hazlenut trees. It wasn't to hard to get down but the way up... Bloody hell that was quite a journey. We arrived on top totally out of breath. But we were defenetly awake after ...
Dinner time
... Followed by a Grappa which is produced by Enricos grapes. As well we tasted his dessert wine, which was quite interesting. It had a good hint of a nice herb liquor and I absolutly loved it. Especially I fought the whole day with my voice as I kept loosing it. However as soon as I tasted that wine my throat was suddenly cleared and I found my voice back. Everyone thought it was funny and I said I will take it with me to have a sip in the morning. ...
On the vineyards
... and even the fermentation process was allready finished. The walk around the vinyard show me a great picture of all the different aspects which are influencing the wine.
We now went into the winery where the grapes where pressed and than fermentet, stored in the french oak barrels and than bottled. Intersting to see and Enrico explained us how he is producing his red wines. During the visit in the winery we as well tasted some more wines. We tasted ...
