... turn is it to pay? I've grown accustomed to the first words I speak for the day being my coffee order! But we seem to have re-adjusted pretty quickly, and it's really nice to sit somewhere watching the world going by, and discussing your analysis with a comfortable companion! Taormina is set on a terrace of Monte Tauro, overlooks Sicily's Ionian coast, and is the Sicilian equivalent of the Amalfi coast, with much more of a resort feel than the places I've visited ...

... except up the hill. We wondered through the shops and found a supermarket of sorts to get washing liquid to do our laundry. We also bought some food. We had decided we would have a relaxing day at the resort today. ... I thought I should do a run. Level 3 has an outside deck where you can walk right around the ship (3 circuits = 1 mile). On wider sections of the deck, passengers recline on lounge chairs enjoying fresh sea air, water views and sunshine. Jogging is not allowed but is tolerated if you are careful not to startle the sedate strollers, or collide with them when rounding corners! I managed 12 mixed jog/walk laps, with no collisions and loads ...
