... We had to summit the highest peak in the area to reach the little hamlet of 150 people. The road up seemed quite precarious and likely rightfully so, but we made it up unscathed and it provided us with some breathtaking views, and photos. The only discouraging thing about photos and videos is they really do not do these places justice, we just wish everyone could see this for themselves, there are only so many things you can say to describe such amazing sights.

... closing so it was all good, and after all the weather was beautiful. While back down in town we grabbed a slice of pizza for the walk back. While I was in the shop something grabbed my eye that the guy behind the counter classified as "potatoes" I bit into one and found out it was a deep fried olive, wow what a surprise!

The Rocca was very cool and well worth the effort to get there, it was easily the best presented site we have visited yet. A good majority ...

So we slept in today....9 AM, it is pretty tough to last much longer than that lazing away, the sun is shining in through the bedroom window and the activity on the street below mixed in with the birds chirping makes you feel alive and you feel like a bum staying in bed. We are enjoying a nice lazy day overall though thus far, I think this will be the official first day to leave the car parked.

... off after all we had walked for what seemed forever and really what can you really see in a crumbling fort? Well we bit the bullet and paid up and were sure glad we did. There were really no parts that were off limits so we were able to explore the lowest points (dungeon) and the highest points (watchtowers) which provided us with some awesome 360 degree viewpoints.

We headed back towards the car and momentarily felt like we were lost but in the end ...
