... Both for religious and architectural reasons, this place is so meaningful for me. It would be until our third day in Rome when we would go inside, as I knew this place deserved an entire day.

... happy with their choices, I had a side salad and we had 2 bottles of water, it all came to 41,50 euros for those wanting to know prices.

Walked back to the Pantheon, listened to an opera singer in the Piazza (love this sort of thing!), Jim and the boys went for a few groceries for the morning, we got our last gelato then back to the apt to pack. (got in about 9:15 or 9:30)

... as it's not downpouring outside, I'm hoping to spend as much time as possible just wandering around Rome.. I haven't very much in the last week or so due to being busy and the ****** weather. But .... only two weeks left, I'm definitely getting my butt out there!

... to the door. Only about 15 or 20 people from the town ended up coming! The party was a success though, and we got to meet a lot of great people around the town. Towards the end of the party, when most of the towns' people had left and all of our teachers were still there we had a dance/clean up party. We had SO much extra food it could have fed a small army.

... are men dressed as Roman soldiers who were trying to get tourists to come and have a picture with them. Our guide mentioned that he knew of a deaf guy who worked as one of those soldiers. The next thing we knew, he found the guy and we got to have our picture taken with him for free. He has been working as one of these soldiers for 13 years and has a very deep tan!
