Well, how smart of me. I sent out my appeal for donations to RRISA's Red White & New but forgot to include the link to my donation page. So here it is:

... some of us went on the House & Garden Tour, a weekly event sponsored by the local expat community with proceeds going to after school programs for local children: one very ordinary house out in the countryside and a very modern house in a gated community near the wonderful Parque Juarez.
So much more I can tell you but I'll break it up into smaller bits so you aren't overwhelmed - or bored!!

... ready for Christmas! There are poinsettias in the Jardin baskets, market vendors with ornaments/tree decorations abound (including straw reindeer everywhere), Centro has dancing icicle lights strung above the streets along with huge star pinatas. There is a poinsettia fair for the next few weeks, La Noche Buena, and the poinsettia color varieties are beautiful (reds, white, pinks) under the tents. Even the Pollo Feliz is decorated with Christmas trees, red star pinatas ...
... I love the trees too.. we have a lime tree and orange tree in our courtyard). All in all, life without a car has been very pleasant. When transportation is necessary, a 30 peso taxi is a "hand wave" away.
I will miss the delicious cafe lattes and cappuccinos each day that do not cost a small fortune. I will miss having a small exercise studio next door to my kids' school and Sandra's 50 pesos TRX and spin classes. I will even miss ...
