Oaxaca was a pretty cool town, nice streets and a big Zocalo(main plaza) which it seemed all the locals loved. The plaza was filled with people selling balloons, candy floss and toffee apples and there were various musical acts including an orchestra. We're still not sure, because it was Fathers Day, but we think that this is standard weekend …

Oaxaca. Student city, home to, apparently, some of the best Day of the Dead celebrations, and very club-happy.



Also the only place where someone had the gaull to try to break into an ambulance!!! I mean really. 1pm, broad daylight, city street, in the one hour we left the ambulances unattended to grab some lunch. Doesn't do much for our impression of Oaxaca!
