    ... at Andala’s Dog House. Food was awesome! Actually, I was so messed up from pain meds I had to go back to the room and be put to bed but Roy assures me my assessment is correct on the quality of the food. Glad to write it’s a new day and I feel really good!

    We will never again drive I-10 from San Antonio to El Paso. Whew, what a desolate, wind-swept highway! Around every bend, nothing but scrubby desert as far as the eye can see. And a lot of that was accompanied by high winds. Once, a very strong punch was gusted directly into the side of our overworked motorhome and Mike was forced to slow way down in order to maintain control. ...

    Today we got up and the weather was beautiful! Sunny and clear roads as we cross Arizona
    and the corner of New Mexico. The speed limit on I10 is now 75 miles per hour. We drove all day & spent the night at another truck stop in Las Cruces, NM. It was freezing when the sun went down-really windy & 40 degrees. Had a hearty truckers dinner & watched a Netflix movie on the laptop in bed. ...
