... used geometry and astrology to build their temples and housing. Some stones have more than 14 corners, one having a whopping 26!! The walls are constructed of stone that has been carved to fit its neighbour with exact precision, they used a system similar to tongue and grove to make sure the stones would slip off one another. The lines are so perfect you couldn't even get a finger nail in-between the stones.

We've had another fantastic two weeks in South America....now onto Chile ...

... up close experience with Inca terraces and ruins and I have to say, they really are amazing! After touring the ruins we had lunch in town at a restaurant called the Blue Llama.
