... choices were narrowed down to only a few - and even still, I wasn't exactly content with the selection. As I was trying to make a pick, a dreaded guy named Derek asked what I was looking for, and I told him. He said to give him a few minutes, and he would return with the proper bike. I stood there wondering where he was going, and why he had to go get it, and then I stopped wondering. What was the point? Instead, I ...

I finished with a cappuccino, and then Maxim showed up again to take me back. I shook hands with the cook, and walked away. After Maxim brought me back, it was lights out. I was exhausted but looking forward to tomorrow's adventures. I ended the night by saying to myself, "another great day in paradise".

With that we were up before dawn to catch our 7am flight back to Italy connecting through Qatar and thus finished an incredible two weeks of sailing, that offered so much more. A trip that every sailor should attempt at least once in their life.

... The coral heads are some of the best I’ve seen on the trip, making for a fine snorkel.
Once back on the boat, we half-heartedly attempt to set a stern anchor so that we’d have our bow set into the waves which caused a substantial amount of roll our first night. Feeling we were setting it too close ...
... time for another provisioning run. Marcello and I take a walk up the road to Vitoria and find a few minimarkets that have frozen meat, fresh bread, bottled water, and beer. It’s great that we don’t need much as it’s a longer walk than we expected. Meanwhile, Lisa has inquired about a dive with the whale sharks at the resort ...

In the water again, but, it’s starting to get grey and there’s a much stronger current. So, one by one we abandon are afternoon snorkel content with what we experience in the morning.

The high winds never materialized, nor the rain, but, the sea was sending 1-2m waves into our beam from around the northern point of the bay. Thinking they would eventually subside and expecting a severe hit of wind, we stayed. In hindsight, it probably would have been wiser to go anchor further into the bay, clear of the ...
... attitude perfectly, was very entertaining, and delivered the goods.
We expected the price increases with his various deliveries, but, still felt the cost was reasonable for cost of provisioning in the Seychelles and we’re very glad we took Neal’s advice and recommend you do the same.

... gotten a chance to see much yet. I would love to come back. I really just cant stress enough how wonderful the ppl are here. For example, today, while I was passing the market, a man called me over, and gave me some fresh starfruit for free. His reasoning was that you cant just sell for money everyday and not give generously too. He said that he has plenty on his tree in his yard and just wanted to share. I am constantly having ...
Victoria, Seychelles Islands realisme_33... go figure. Gotta seek out these Cdn Seychellois like I did the Vincentians after visiting Bequia. Restaurant Reviews: These 3 places stood out amongst others La Digne: The Sunset Café ... Alain owns the place with his brother. The recommendation is obvious when you see his picture - aside from that, the prawns curry is phenomenally good and the atmosphere is really laid back. Mahe: Italian Garden Restaurant owned by Italian chefs. I had the best shrimp pasta in ...
