He brings it up again in the winter and by spring it's a full blown road trip through the vast majority of the Western United States in just two weeks. As the seasons pass I slowly gain interest. By early summer it hits me. What about MY summer vacation?! As I sat in my office listening to the daily office chit chat - I couldn't help but feel a twinge ...

Stopped at a dealer in Simi Valley on our way to Hollywood. We avoided LA and hugged the outskirts. Rode down Hollywood Blvd in Beverly Hills and saw the Stars Of Fame on ...

... went for a walk along the beach, packed up and hit the road for Lake Elsinore. Just less than an hour inland from Laguna. A beautiful lake surrounded by rocky mountains. We stayed at an RV park and camped on the shore of Lake Elsinore. We bought a book each from target, I also bought a new pair of bathers. We lazed around in the afternoon sun, went for a quick dip in the lake, then showered. We only shower every 3 or so days so it's a bit of a treat. We cook a beautiful chicken salad ...
