Last Day In Home Away From Home

Who Knew There Was So Much To See

The waiter/owner had a shopkeeper from down the road come in and flash two fingers to him. Another Perfect Day!
So we slept in today....9 AM, it is pretty tough to last much longer than that lazing away, the sun is shining in through the bedroom window and the activity on the street below mixed in with the birds chirping makes you feel alive and you feel like a bum staying in bed. We are enjoying a nice lazy day overall though thus far, I think this will be the official first day to leave the car parked.

Stop Two On The Day
We started back tracking towards our home base around one or so, we wanted to stop into Assisi since it is the community that is most well known around these parts, and after visiting understandabely so. There are on 3,000 full time residents of this town but due to the fact that an ancient "saint" is entombed there and there was a massive cathedral built in his honour there are well over 2,000,000 visitors to the little town yearly.
