... which ruined our plans of hiking into the mountains and staying in a village overnight. The weather was bad so we weren´t too disappointed. But the frustration grew as every day we woke up hoping to be able to leave for Colombia but couldn´t as we felt too ill. Now this is more manageable. Our route today was maybe only 40km in total, and at least half was downhill. We also got to stop every 30 minutes or so for some little town with awesome Colonial (Spanish colonies) architecture, or at a coffee & dairy farm etc. Our lunch spot was a highlight, with delicious beef and a live band.

... gefahren. Unterwegs hatten wir dann noch Fleisch, Wasser und Eis gekauft. Juan kauft das Fleisch nach eigener Aussage nämlich lieber frisch kurz vorm Zielort als schon nen Tag vorher. War mir auch ganz Recht nachdem ich bei seiner telefonischen Vorbestellung mitbekommen hab, dass wir die Tage wohl ziemlich viel Hackfleisch essen werden... ;) Abends gab es dann nur noch Essen, ein paar Bierchen in der Gruppe und dann ging es zum Schlafen in die Hängematte.
