... a great thing in modern day although in it's time it has helped Cuba enormously and created the beautiful country it is now.

It is an interesting question to ask whether Cuba will remain like this for a while to come as it's inhabitants are not showing any unrest or step towards another revolution. This being said, Fidel Castro stepped down from presidency in 2008 choosing his brother Raoul as successor but once the Castro's are gone who knows what is in store for Cuba's future?
