Back in Cabo Once Again

... quality time by the pool with a good book and lunch on the ocean.

We took a pedi-cab over to ME but the whole resort is closed as a result of Hurricane Odie. So we're next door at Pueblo Bonito Oceanfront Resort and Spas. Here we sit by the pool in their recliners waiting for lunch and our margaritas, while looking out at the Zaandam parked in the harbour. We're here until about 5:00 p.m and then it's on to our next port of call - Puerto Chiapas.

I chose thinly sliced tomatoes with basil and a special buffalo mozzarella which was so creamy it was unbelieveable. The mozella appeared on top of the sliced tomatoes in a large serving - too much for me but very nice. My second appetiser was at the waiter’s suggestion and that was calamari which again was very nice but too much. Doug had the calamari as a starter





Then out came freshly made ravioli filled ...

... and the owner of the restaurant even pointed us into the direction of a laundromat. Whilst awaiting out laundry we explored the town which was quite empty in the afternoon and then Ken treated us both to massages :D yay for being spoilt! I got a deep tissue massage which went for 90min instead of the advertised 60min (score!) and it was sooo relaxing!!! After our massages we felt very oily lol and we collected our laundry which was all ...

Today we woke up to the smell of freshly brewed coffee, bacon, scrambled eggs and tortillas that Grandpa has prepared and rain. What? Rain is falling so we take our leisurely time getting ready to go pool exploring. As there are at least 5 different pool areas we have enough to keep us going all week.

... home inCabo Pulmo Marine Preserve. The sea lions were all sleeping on this rock all squished together with some on top of the other, like sardines, it was adorable. Of course there was the odd pair fighting, but it was so cute to see their little sleepy faces together, they look so lazy.
