... bad weather! What a bugger! However it was planning to leave tomorrow night…. This threw our plans out slightly so we found an internet café to sort out what the hell we were going to do. We found a ferry that ran from Palermo (1.5 hours away from where we were in Trapani) to Genova (where we eventually needed to get to) in two nights time. This will have to do we thought! From a flat sea into Palermo's working harbor, we arrived after a slow sail from Catania. This morning, so as to not disturb Gloria’s sleep while still accommodating my preference for an early arising, I did not arrange for room service.
