I finally found my way to the HOHO bus stop and caught the bus back to the Gastown stop, which was the nearest stop to the Vancouver Lookout. The elevator ride to the Observation Deck took 40 seconds for the 168.6 metres. From the deck you have 360 degree views of Vancouver. It was a very clear day and the views were stunning. I wandered back to Canada Place and picked up the HOHO bus to Robson Street stop near the Barclay Hotel (where I was staying).

Then went to Lynn Canyon, where we went across the suspension bridge and took a dip in the refreshingly cold creek. Then back to the US. First international stop of the trip over!

... Dolphins, Penguins, Jelly fish - the list goes on, really, really enjoyable visit. Ending with a visit to the shop whereby we picked up a large soft toy version of Qila - hmmmm, now to get her in the suitcase.............

Weary, but thrilled with the experience we traipsed back to the harbour and onto our hotel where we had dinner and are now doing the final pack before flight home tomorrow.

Julian nudges us awake, he's hungry he says. Christine calls shortly after, everyone is up and it's time for breakfast. We meet downstairs in the lobby for the short walk to Tim Hortons, a Canadian coffee house. The lobby is a sea of bright red shirts, emblazoned with crisp white letters, "Keep Calm and Cruise On." Genny ordered shirts for all of us to wear, in true family vacation style. As we walk the quiet streets to Tim Hortons, locals smile as they see the horde of people ...
