It's 4:50 am and we're already at the airport with all the other sleepy people for our 6:21 am flight to LosAngeles. We'll change planes there for the remainder of the trip to Vancouver. Sue M came all the way from South Africa for this trip. We have spent the last three days shopping, getting pedicures, taking a yoga class and trying to figure out how to get all our stuff packed. It is Alaska we are visiting ...where you need lots of warm clothes and layers ... Right? Good ...

... with the four of us and Julie we also took along the Chinaman and his family. We arrived at the Ferry Terminal at 7.20pm raced over to purchase tickets for the return journey to be told that the ticket sales close 15 minutes prior to the sailing. No amount of pleading with the staff worked, we would just have to wait for the next ferry. The next ferry would not depart until 9.30pm.
