Today we crossed from Bariloche, via a very wet boat/bus/ferry trip, which took 10 hours to finally arrive in Puerto Varas. We should have had hundreds of photos from the crossing but it just rained non-stop. Luckily we did the crossing in one day and did not stay an extra night in Peulla - it was just too wet to walk outside but we did have a lovely lunch there.

We ended off the afternoon with pedicures (to prepare for the hot and sunny days in northern Chile) and then dinner at the same cafe (because it was close to our hostel and it had started to rain) - turned out the food was as good as the coffee! ... kam ... Zum Abschluss gab's dann noch einen Stopp bei der "Laguna Verde", der jedoch ziemlich kurz ausfiel. Einerseits wegen zu vielen Tabañnos, andererseits weils keinen Kuchen mehr gab am Kiosk (und weil die Laguna selbst nicht so spannend ist).

Nach den ganzen Minibus-Ausflugen haben wir dann fur die Weiterreise ein Ticket fur einen richtigen Bus besorgt - ubers Internet und (man kann es kaum glauben) es hat sogar geklappt! Mehr dazu nachstes Mal :)

After waving goodbye to the family we drove to the local town to see a church built using no nails. This may sound quite dull to some however once you realise that the building your in had stood for about 200 years and it built like a jigsaw puzzle it becomes very interesting!
