After spending the morning and eating lunch, we went into town to the Supermarcado to get a few things to take home with us, like coffee. Pete drove Tim's van, which was quite a treat! ... very small. It was so beautiful, I couldn't believe the number of colours visible in the rocks and plants of the crater. It is the highest active volcano in Costa Rica at 3432m which is also by far the highest I have ever been! After waiting 6 months longer than everyone else, I have finally taken in the DC program, and I it was well worth the wait. Three days of a spiritual banquet in LESCO (Lenguaje de Seņas Costarricense/ Costa Rican Sign Language) surrounded by brothers and sister who met us with open arms.
