I forgot how short the Ticos are. That is the first thing I noticed off the plane. They are even shorter than me, if you can believe it! To make matters worse for them, the Ticas usually wear heels. The only market I have ever seen with art products piled higher or tighter was the "Public Market" in Phenom Phen in Cambodia, but the Mercado was cleaner since it was 100% art and tourist products. The prices were reasonable and you could talk them down about ...

After waiting 6 months longer than everyone else, I have finally taken in the DC program, and I it was well worth the wait. Three days of a spiritual banquet in LESCO (Lenguaje de Seņas Costarricense/ Costa Rican Sign Language) surrounded by brothers and sister who met us with open arms.

As in all sign languages, the audio drama heard in hearing languages on Friday , was a full costume drama in for us, and watching the violence and suffering ...
