We savored a bottle of Barbera d'Alba and shared three dishes - an antipasti of carne crude, a first course of the plin, and a third course of local fish with roasted vegetables. So after this "delicious meal" it was time to walk it off and we went about discovering this little village which really is quite quaint and pretty.

Time to get back to Fifi and head back to Perletto.

... and I have never seen so many shade houses in one area. They were bigger than the houses, they actually detracted from the beauty of the mountains. We turned off the motorway, 20 in tolls thanks and headed inland. Wow what a difference. It is such a mountainous countryside and the roads became narrow and winding, I wondered initially why Ken said it would take an hour to do 59 kms, didn't take long to realise why. It certainly put Brendan ...
