    In the arcaded porticos of Peive di Teco the welcoming door
    of the Brooks' apartment opened! What a splendid time we had …. and we did stay longer than that fish meal!!!

    We woke on Friday morning and decided it was time to move on! The weather forecast for Nice was bad for a few days so we decided to head to Italy. There were two routes, one through Nice & Monaco and the other over the Mercantor Mountains. The mountain option was the shorter & quicker of the two so we opted for that.     ... playing in the pool. The landscape here is really amazing - very hilly, but lots and lots of little hills. It would've been hard to defend this landscape - you can never see what's coming!!
