        Since my return to the DR, I have been working very closely with the Rotary Club of Consuelo, as my club in Dartmouth, NS is planning a joint-development project in one of the bateyes near Consuelo. I have gotten to know the club members very well over the past year, and some of them have become my closest friends here.         ... before the apartment was actually ready for me to move into. Needless to say, I was not impressed to have spent the day waiting around in the school where I will be working. However, I must remember that I am back in the DR, and that there is no such thing as North American logic here...or punctuality. In the end, I am very happy for finally be settled into a place that will be MINE, and there is much comfort in knowing that I will not being moving for the next year!
