... I tried to explain to him that it was delicious, but I was full. Rather than letting that go, he brought me another plate unexpectedly. It was so nice, but that really made the situation harder. I didn't want to hurt his or the chef's feelings by not finishing it. Philip was able to help me and we did finish the plate of tempura shrimp that he gave us.

Sorrento is lovely. We had a wander around the town and coast line which is very pretty. It started to rain and we ducked into an archway and stumbled upon a wedding in this courtyard area. String quartet playing as well! There are no real beaches here but rather jetties with beach chairs and umbrellas lined up along them. Very strange.

Ok, now onto our Amalfi adventure. The first night in Sorrento we, with the help of Trip Advisor, found a kebab restaurant in town to have dinner. After having pasta and pizza every day for 12 days I was ready for something different. We happend to be sat at the same small table as a couple of other Americans and we swapped travel stories over dinner.
