... noticed that there were no other boats on the stretch that had been teeming with ships on the way out. We found out later that they had even suspended ferry service that afternoon. On the plus side though, I did see a dolphin jump completely out of the water during the chaos. At first I thought it might have been a near death hallucination but then I saw him again and I'm fairly certain he was real.

... You must spent 40€ at the restaurant for free parking otherwise it's 3€/hr. We didn't want to stay and eat. There was no way we would spend 40€ and the longer we stayed the more parking was. The waiter came to take our order and we said we were done. Wow was he ****** off. Just another victim to is tourists. They charged us a sitting fee, so coffee, water and parking came to 16€. As we were leaving Pompeii there are 2 main directions ...

So the Grand Hotel Flora..well it definitely has a lovely name. Dinner was poor at best, twenty minute queue for food and then my much awaited first meal of the honeymoon...macaroni cheese followed by fish fingers and chips and chocolate mousse for pudding.
