... The one that says 'London, Paris, Milan New York'.

We found a lovely local lady who showed us the Metro station and the way we needed to head. WE decided to walk for a bit, found the Hilton Hotel and grabbed a concierge and a map, and then walked much more confidently towards the Lima train station. Along the way, we found a bakery and purchased cannolis and bread.

It was getting hotter and hotter and the streets in this part of town were ...

... up close the extravagant array of detailed spires and buttresses and the distant view of snowcapped mountains to the north and west. After this we put off going inside until tomorrow as it is free museum day and we needed time for a panzarotto and coffee. Panzarotti are a cross between a savoury donut and a calzone. To be avoided. The mandorle (almond biscuits) made up for it and we walked with them to the Pinacoteca di Brera where ...

... are on the menu along with striped bream! Last night I tried a grilled sole (following from the one I had in Nice), but unfortunately it wasn't that nice.

We are planning on catching the bus back to Como as it is quicker than the ferry and it winds around the waters edge and through the mountains. It will add another aspect to this marvellous holiday we are ...
