      ... the lunch hour began. The builders came in in hordes. Seated, supplied with bread and wine followed by pasta and then time to get back to work. We moved on and later found a great pizza place. Pizzas are good here (unlike Rome). We then followed Fabio's advice and caught the ferry into Como. We spent the afternoon walking about the main part of the city - lovely old buildings, huge Duomo (surprise!!), partially unfinished waterfront, shops ...

      Well from the outside of city there is a breathtaking view of the upper town but once you are in it I woudn't say the same. Still there is plenty to see wandering around the streets and lots of lovely churches to explore. But it's definitely not the best medieval town in Italy.

      ... Milan we decided to see the mighty Duomo under daylight so we headed off there again. Despite the guys trying to sell you stuff it was great strolling around the piazza once again and we pretty much spent the whole day around. We also went to the Castello Sforzesco wich reminded me a lot of Castel Sant'Angelo in Rome.       Today I am organised, don't laugh, got an early wake up call so for once I am up early, check ,into brekky early, check, the most important meal of the day,well it's in the top three! Bugger as I was knackered last night went to bed early while others stayed up watching the World Cup I didn't hear about the change of plans for the next days ride. Well even that curve ball thrown by Greg... We are leaving at 8 not 8.30 didn't throw me because I am organised!haha ...
