My last two days in Tenerife

A travel blog entry by btfreder on Jun 21, 2014

... with my friends on the beach for the last time, have a few well deserved drinks, talk with Avi (from UIowa) about MCAT and premed course work, walk on the most jagged rocks I think I've ever been on, get sunburned on my legs (AGAIN), take some embarrassingly ridiculous selfies, interrupt a game of rugby between Spaniards, and get lost in the beauty of my favorite place in the north of Tenerife. I didn't want to leave the beach, but I really needed to get back home to put on ...

    Gynecology

A travel blog entry by btfreder on Jun 16, 2014

... Marc and Sergio didn't show up for class today, so Ashley and I got to leave the hospital early. We went to SuperDino to get some snacks and then ran back to the residencia. I don't know why I've been so tired today, but I had two coffees before seminar and I still almost fell asleep. ... countries growl and rasp the bass tones. Meanwhile I somehow manage to say my "thank you, please, sorry, hello, etc. in any other language than whoever it is I am addressing. The bars and cafes are tourist orientated, it is indeed a tourist place and the attraction is the perfect climate, good swimming or surfing, ample restraunts and bars together with warmish sea for this time of the year. For people enjoying their holidays or early retirement it could ...

    Week3---WEEKEND---week4

A travel blog entry by btfreder on Jun 11, 2014

... As I said, the sun was out and the sky was super blue, so the water was this pleasant blue/turquoise color, and the waves were so big some of them went over my head. There were these giant rocks to walk and climb on off to the side of the beach, and we found all kinds of crabs and little sea animals hanging out on them in the sun. We also swam out to this huge rock structure about 100 meters away from the shore. It was cool to sit out in the sun on the rocks, and while ...
