... the day. Kirk and his Dad left at 5:45 am to head to the course. The rest, the kids and I and my parents followed at 6:15. The Ultra Marathoners (50 mile) runners left in the dark with headlamps on. Kirk says it was really cool to see this glow of light depart the starting line as a swarm of bees and then slowly drift into a single dotted line.
