... a long day, almost without rain (as predicted) except at the very first of the trip. We hastily secured Rhiannon. Maggie put together some delicious tuna melt, and we relaxed with a feeling of accomplishment for completing a long trek with a little navigational challenge at the end. The last of the (good) box wine topped off the meal. Tonight we'd sleep in real beds, enjoy leisurely hot water showers, another glass of wine, and the chance to catch up on the ...

still black and blue and grunts when he moves. Finishing off the trip this way is a huge sacrifice but we were together on this plan no matter what. ... not a hardship when it's sunny. The closer we got to Wrightsville the more boat traffic we encountered it was like a lake in the summer, we had tubers go right I front of us do they not see we are big! I loved this narrow passage way but for navigating you had to really watch the depth there were sand bars all over. The locals would drive their boats right up onto the sand bar and play in the water or fish.

We stayed at the Seapath Marina ...
