    ... Guadeloupe River. The view is wonderful and there are trails to hike, which I intend to do in the morning.

    The only eventful thing to happen today was we picked up a nail in one of the tires on the Honda. Thanks to my handy I-Phone, we found a place to fix it and it took 15 minutes and $15.00. Eazy-Peazy!

    ... and on ramps,six lanes full of traffic make sure that you have a GPS even then be prepared to take the wrong ramp occasionally.Other driver are generally courteous letting people merge and change lanes,just indicate early. Most states let you turn right on a red light if the way is clear.
    Heading to San Antonio for a two day break,we are just a bit over half way on our road trip.

    ... had to have warm homemade peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream for lunch. Delicious! We're sorry we can't take some of these peaches to Ohio since our peach crop was frosted out this year. We drove to Carlsbad, NM by 8:00PM. After checking out several hotels and being discouraged with their prices we stayed in a deluxe cabin at Carlsbad KOA.     ... made all day. Large water bottles to wear around your neck with nozzles to squirt water freely. The kids loved that the adults even wanted sprayed which they were happy to do. The shows were very good and brought back many memories of Sea World in Ohio 30 years ago. Shamu ( IV or V) is still performing!     Gathered at Sara & Colum's for breakfast tacos from Dan's Hamburgers. It has become a tradition of ours ever since Chad & Monica introduced them to us. I have yet to have a hamburger from Dan's Hamburgers but they have the best breakfast tacos in town. We spent the day exploring the Splash Parks in Austin.
