... not the on climbing on gear...

The climb was 4 pitches nearly 500 ft. tall with an amazing view that was slightly foggy but you could get the gist. Probably one of the most fun climbs I have ever done.

... station trying to find a tire shop that was either open on a sunday, or the labor day holiday that followed... no luck. We headed back to camp worried about the tire situation feeling helpless. When we arrived we told Ronda of our troubles and she called Ken over with no sense of concern. Within 5 mins the tire was patched and refilled with air. These people were amazing.

This past weekend, I headed out to Doughton Park along the Blue Ridge Parkway for a challenging 17-mile circuit hike. I met up with Robin and we carpooled out, arriving at the trailhead on Long Bottom Road at about 930. We got ready and then headed out for our hike, starting out by passing the gate on Grassy Gap Fire Road.
